The briefing is underway. Nice group of debaters, I hear 20 rooms are in order. Two rounds tonight and three tomorrow. The most exciting thing is the depth of the judging pool. I believe there are over 120 judges expected, many of which have achieved great things as debaters. I expect the participants will get some really great advice post-round.
Greetings from Toronto, where this afternoon the Hart House IV starts. This is my favorite tournament so I expect I will be posting a lot. For now we are just enjoying the city until the debates begin later this afternoon. And of course the Canadian dollar has hit parity with the US dollar just in time for me to change my money.
